For those that allow employees to edit their own timecards it would be helpful and more secure if edits had to go through their manager for a final approval that would then add them to a timecard. Much like how Time Off Requests are handled, they aren't added to the timecard until approved. Ideally this would be a selectable feature on the Admin side so clients that don’t want to approve edits before they are added don’t have to.
