Could we add the following questions to the Employer Review Section of the New Hire form for PTO accruals?
This would make it easier to employers to provide PTO accrual information upon hire.
Something like:
Paid Time Off:
Current PTO Balance (if any) _____________
Max Number of PTO Hours accrued per year __________________
How are PTO hours accrued? (Dropdown Options: 1. As a lump sum at the beginning of the year, 2. Each pay period)
Can this employee carryover accrued and unused PTO from one year to the next? (Yes/No)
If yes, what is the maximum number of PTO Hours to be carried over?
If yes, when can this employee carryover accrued and unused PTO? (Calendar Year / Hire Date Anniversary)
